Nylén proves no favour to other artists that he tries to mimic or imitate. He, however, is a big fan of Edward Hopper, Piet Mondrian, Chagall and Klee. Nylén is known for painting houses on clouds in endless variations, but more recently he focuses on more abstract art with digital tools. Nylén often paints with acrylic colours. Most of his artwork is displayed on his website.

Per Nylén is a painter, photographer and digital artist in his fifties, living in a small town called Alingsås in the south west of Sweden. He likes a good cup of espresso and loves music.
