Esmé Holmes was born in Christchurch, New Zealand (Aotearoa). She has a Danish and Maori lineage. Based in Sydney Australia, she has worked with Aboriginal and Torres STrait Islander Communities and Western Medicine integrating culturally appropriate healing from trauma through painting stories. Esmé has a background in fine arts.
