Amin Shojaei collaboration with Singulart

Anubis, Amin Shojaei

Artist Amin Shojaei has begun a collaboration with Singulart on 11 April, with a selection of works now available on the platform. This marks a new stage in the public presentation of his practice and expands access to his work for an international audience. Having recently moved to France, Shojaei is currently based in a home studio near Paris. Working in this new context has allowed him to continue his practice while engaging with a wider European cultural environment.

Originally from Iran, Shojaei works primarily through painting, while also developing projects across installation, video, and mixed media. His practice is informed by themes of memory, environment, movement, and personal experience. Through layered surfaces, organic forms, and expressive gestures, his works balance abstraction with references to natural systems and emotional states. Rather than presenting fixed narratives, his paintings remain open spaces for interpretation. They invite viewers to consider relationships between inner experience, landscape, and transformation. The collaboration with Singulart reflects an ongoing evolution in Shojaei’s career as he continues to develop new work from his studio in France.

About:

Amin Shojaei, born in 1986, dealt with different environmental projects about how human and nature can dialogue. He could transform this dialogue as form of art and gave the idea of artist as a gardener. In his oceanic rocks paintings, he’s focusing on the layers of life intersection in cavities and organisms.
