Lilyan Aloma (b. 1947, United States) creates images to explore her world, interior and exterior; to discover what lies beneath her “seeing.” The Glass Border: The glass that divides the contents of a window from the external environment is transparent, however, it is an actual physical partition, a border, that we can see through. Within the context of this transparency, she discovered a fresh dimension in her field of perception.
