Born in 1996 in Zambia, Jack Kabangu has roots to the Democratic Republic of Congo and has been residing in Denmark since 2005. Currently, he calls Copenhagen home, where he not only resides but also operates from his dedicated studio.

Jack's journey as a visual artist is marked by self-guided exploration and learning. Artistic expression serves as his unique language, allowing him to communicate in ways that words often cannot. His creative realm is deeply rooted in culture, seamlessly blending African heritage with Danish influences to create a distinctive expression that transcends the limitations of verbal communication. His previous exhibitions include: Jack Kabangu "borgerkrigen (The Civil War)", Over the Influence (2022); What Lies Within Us, Maddox Gallery (2022) and 2022 Summertime'22, Galleri Christoffer Egelund (2022); among others.
