Ten Isreal

Ten Isreal is a gospel artist, preaching love, peace and God through songs, creating a better world for our kids and sensitizing the youths on the importance to embrace empathy and love therefore creating a better world for everyone.

What is your background and how did you start your journey in the art world?

“I started music from the local church choir years ago as a teenager. I’ve been in the background for sometime but thank God I have my single ‘the way’ which is currently being distributed.”

What inspires you?

“God inspires me and my background too.”

What themes do you pursue? Is there an underlying message in your work?

“Jesus, love and peace.”

How would you describe your work?

“I try to create a better world through my lyrics.”

Which artists influence you most?

“Don mown and Kirk franklin.”

What is your creative process like?

“I just sit in a quiet space and bring my imagination to life!”

What is an artist’s role in society and how do you see that evolving?

“I see an artist as the community builder, it takes the media to give out narratives that shape our world and an artist is usually the first influence on media and entertain. I see music becoming the major influence in the lives of younger people.”

Have you had any noteworthy exhibitions you'd like to share?

“I’ve not really gone out but I’m working on it with my first single.”
