What is your background and how did you start your journey in the art world?

“I was a nurse and business owner in my previous career. My journey into the art world really started at the age of three. My grandfather really inspired me through his creative process, although I really didn't start producing art until January of 2024.”

What inspires you?

“Nature and my surroundings, which I try to bring to the canvas. The world is a beautiful place and I try to capture it through colors and thoughts.”

What themes do you pursue? Is there an underlying message in your work?

“I would say emotions and the environment are the main contributing factors of my work. I try to create beauty through textures and colors.”

How would you describe your work?

“I use a complex array of patterns with a rich interplay of colors, including textures that appear tactile, suggesting the use of a thick medium that adds a three-dimensional quality to my work.”

Which artists influence you most?

“Simon Bull, David Donald, and Vincent van Gogh are the top three. All artists influence me in one way or another.”

“I try to create beauty through textures and colors.”

What is your creative process like?

“I use several layers of paint to create the effect I want.”

What is an artist’s role in society and how do you see that evolving?

“Artists have always adapted to the times, and they will likely continue to shape and be shaped by the society in which they live. Their evolving role will remain essential in expressing the human experience and contributing to the cultural fabric of society.”
