What is your background and how did you start your journey in the art world?
“I've always been super creative as a kid. I love building things with my hands and my imagination. During my teenage years, I was fortunate to spend a few days with iconic American artist, Andy Warhol, and he was a major influence in me pursuing art as a career option.”
What inspires you?
“Life inspires me; everyday I get up excited to create new works of art and meet new people. I'm so grateful to be alive that all I want to do is to bring love to others with my art all around the world.”
What themes do you pursue? Is there an underlying message in your work?
“Love is probably the most important message that's in all my work. Whether it's love for our fellow men, women, children and our planet. Social equality and justice for all using art to tell a story that words alone can't paint in an adequate picture.”
“Life inspires me; everyday I get up excited to create new works of art and meet new people.”
How would you describe your work?
“My work is powerful and thought provoking there is always a message. Hopefully, you will see a powerful response to today's society and culture in a beautiful way that makes you aware of that underlying message while giving you hope, comfort, peace and introspective thoughts that leave you excited about life.”
Which artists influence you most?
“Any artist that uses action in their work. I love movement, flow and energy. These are the things that really bring a painting to life and I use those influences in all my work.”
What is your creative process like?
“There’s a lot of everything that goes into my work emotionally, physically and intellectually. I'm completely drained from every piece of work that I do. I put 1000% of everything that I have into my art because it's what truly gives me purpose.”
What is an artist’s role in society and how do you see that evolving?
“I think an artist's role in society is to enlighten and educate people in a manner that makes them want to live their lives to the fullest with more enthusiasm and passion. While shedding light on issues that can make all of ours lives better and more harmonious. A messenger with a true message for humanity.”
Have you had any noteworthy exhibitions you'd like to share?
“Yes, The Los Angeles Lakers and NBA just recently sponsored an epic star studded art exhibit for me in Hollywood and I'm currently featured on NBA.com with an artist spotlight. I'm so humbled and honored to receive so much love from around the world.”
