Chirag Pandya
Chirag Pandya, founder of Studio Zoomtech, brings technical expertise as a travel, commercial, portrait and wedding photographer, making sure to capture the perfect moment the first time. It also doesn't hurt that he honed these digital skills before the digital revolution. Over the last 30 years, Chirag has shot travel images. Perhaps one of the most rewarding aspects of his profession is not the obvious fact of taking pictures of beautiful places and experiencing other cultures, it's the opportunity to work with amazing people from different agencies, models, producers, stylists assistants and photographing the globe. Shooting travel images is one of Chirag’s passions and he isextremely fortunate to be surrounded by amazing beauty.
What is your background and how did you start your journey in the art world?
“I was born in India into an artistic family. My grandfather was a painter. I came to Montreal, Canada at a young age and studied photography in Montreal. I had Rollie camera at the age of 12 years and the rest is history.”
What inspires you?
“Colour, light and beauty in nature inspires me to create what I see through the lens.”
What themes do you pursue? Is there an underlying message in your work?
“I pursue self-expression through nature and the environment to express my emotions through abstract and culture.”
How would you describe your work?
“My work is creative.”

“Ansel Adam influences me.”

What is your creative process like?
“My creative process is wonderful, unique and light. I am creative from morning until dawn.”
What is an artist’s role in society and how do you see that evolving?
“Artists are storytellers, and they capture the emotion. They push boundaries and create art using digital media on a small chip. They share knowledge and the skills to the next generation. They create a world beyond reality.”
