Ukama Gallery is pleased to announce that they will be representing Vancouver Island Artist Carol Bednarski. The gallery will feature her work at their Granville Island Gallery as of spring 2024. Carol Bednarski is a self-taught impressionist/abstract artist from with a unique and dynamic style all her own. Her work is characterized by bold brush work and a loose intuitive approach. She is known for her fearless use of colour and richly layered textures. Painting land and seascapes, florals and still life, she seeks to convey truth, beauty and authenticity in her work.
“Art and the journey of creating reflects the journey of life. For me, it’s about trust. Learning to fully trust the process and accept what is, being fully in the moment, authentic and honest. For me, it’s really about the bravery it takes to face a blank canvas, with no intention other than entering into the flow of inspiration, which comes from outside of my own limited, critical mind.”

Carol Bednarski Fine Art paints from her studio in Victoria, BC. After reigniting her love for art a few short years ago, she quickly gained local acclaim and international recognition, with features in several magazines and publications. In 2021, Carol was honoured as one of 'Gold Lists’ Top Contemporary Artist.
