In “Desert Dancer,” translucent fabric swirls around the dancer’s form, creating mesmerizing layers of shadow, movement, and sunlit texture against the desert’s warm, elemental backdrop. Brian Whiteside has been driven by a lifelong passion for photography. Growing up in California’s Central Valley, he spent much time the Sierra Nevada, a world captured by Ansel Adams.
