ROHSCHNITT- handmade collages in a modern interpretation
Roswitha Mueller is a self-taught collage artist based in Germany. In her collages she reuses found and self-made images mixed with acrylic paint to transform it in a total new composition. She highlights people, places, architecture and nature, melting them together in a powerful colored way. In every artwork one can find embedded stories, inspired by daily life and other experiences. Coming from an professionel background as carpenter, art teacher and social worker, she is deeply interested to share her ‘snippets’ of the world and encourage others to find their own artistic expression. She runs collage workshops for youth and adults, always delighted by the processes and the results.
