Mary Elizabeth Marvin
Mary Elizabeth Marvin is a museum-trained contemporary artist whose abstract paintings explore memory, atmosphere, and the quiet experience of place. Working in evolving series, her practice has been shaped by decades of studio work and artist residencies at Vermont Studio Center, Millay Arts, and Burren College of Art in Ireland. Her original paintings are held in private collections throughout the United States and internationally, and she is represented by SH Modern in Naples, Florida. Her work has been exhibited in galleries and museums and placed in residential, hospitality, and commercial collections. Earlier work and licensed collections may appear under her former professional name, Mary Elizabeth Peterson.
