Lenny C Kapatou lives and works in Athens, Greece. Lenny is an Athens-based artist even if her basic occupation is based on management and companies development in the shipping industry. She is also proficient in painting and devoted to high-quality work. “I see my work as a way to bring a piece of the 21st century world into the man-made world and to encourage others to think about the present and future impact on it.” There is an emotional effect in order to evoke moods or ideas. She is influenced by Van Gogh, Da Vinci, Salvador Dali, Michelangelo, Degas. Her goal as an artist is to raise awareness and start a conversation about the political, religious and social implications and the impact of human activity on it. Lenny makes use of materials, such as ink, watercolors, charcoal, oil, egg tempera, computer software, paints and pencils, to create unique pieces. She often researches industry trends and evaluate competitive products.
