“Painter of the Horizons” comes from the Finnish idiom “Taivaanrannan Maalari”. It refers to a person who is daydreaming their life away. This dreamer in Kalervo Karlsson turns the northern horizons into a painting-like photography. Horizons become a vertical emotion, creating an uplifting, calming experience.
